Who should be in the new Smash Bros game?

So, the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game are out. I picked up the Wii U version, it seems pretty good so far. BUT, they still have a couple missing characters that should be added into the new game that'll be released on the Wii V or whatever is after the Wii U. I've narrowed it down to my Top 10. I'm also using images for the first time, hopefully it turns out OK!

10. Simon Belmont - Castlevania Franchise

Castlevania has been around since the NES and it's odd that he hasn't been included in any of the Smash games. His move set would be easy to make, judging that he was in a game where he had a Vampire Whip, which could be his ranged attack along with just some good ol' fisticuffs. The final smash could be the Stopwatch, which would freeze everyone on the screen for a couple of seconds so you could deal some damage without having to risk yourself getting too damaged.

9. Ghirahim - Legend of Zelda Franchise

It seems like Ghirahim is becoming a staple of the franchise, what with his inclusion in the new Hyrule Warriors game, it seems like he'll be sticking around. I do enjoy his character as he seems like a worthy foe to step up to Ganondorf level if need's be.

8. Ridley - Metroid Series

RIDLEY. RIDLEY. RIDLEY. Yeah, strong demand for Ridley, it probably wouldn't work, due to the huge size OF Ridley. It's still a fan favourite and he's a famed character in the Metroid franchise.

7. King K. Rool - Donkey Kong Country

King K. Rool. Who remembers this guy? He was apart of the Donkey Kong Country series and is a bloody good addition to the Mario universe. Apart from his, uhm, "portrayal" in Mario Sluggers which greatly changed his attire, he'd fit right in with the Smash Bros Roster.

6. Knuckles - Sonic Franchise

Now that Sonic has been added into the Smash Roster, it seems more and more likely that other Sonic characters will be added. With the recent release of Sonic Boom or whatever the hell that "game" was, we might want to wait a little while after what they did to Knuckles...

But seriously, Sega, what is that?

5. Birdo - Super Mario Franchise

Birdo has been in the Mario franchise since the second Super Mario Bros. game on the NES. Y'know, the bad one. I'm honestly surprised at how Birdo hasn't been included into the Smash Bros. roster, given that she could have some great attacks, such as shooting eggs at opponents.

4. Travis Touchdown - No More Heroes

How could I not put this guy on the list? He has a lightsaber-sword thingy which is pretty much a big red sign that says "Hey, put me in this game, I haven't had a decent game in forever." Could quite easily be a carbon copy of Marth or Roy if you wanted it to be, seen as though they have some form of stabby slicey knife...thing.

3. Skull Kid - Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask

As more and more Legend of Zelda characters are added into the Smash Bros. roster, it only seems wise to stick one of the best villains there is. The Skull Kid would be a great addition to the game, I mean, THINK OF THE NOSTALGIA. But seriously, he could attack people with his mask or, I dunno, punching people would be okay too I suppose. Final smash, moon comes crashing down on the stage.

There yah go.

2. Banjo and Kazooie - Banjo and Kazooie Franchise

Ah Microsoft, you thieving bastards. Why? But if Nintendo could somehow acquire Rare again and stop making shitty Kinect games then maybe we'd get somewhere with more Banjo Kazooie characters in Smash Bros and some more good games. I mean, why aren't they in the game in the first place?

1. Waluigi - Super Mario Franchise

Waluigi is the best Nintendo character in the damned universe and if anybody disagrees then I will respect your opinion and judge you from the inside. He's been an assist trophy for too long, he deserves his own character. Think about it like this.

If the Villager from Animal Crossing can get into the game then so can Waluigi.
